TRUTH: Some of the darkest, most intense cup marks I have seen were not on patients with pain but patients with significant past emotional trauma. According to Chinese medicine, this makes perfect sense. But you may wonder how emotions are related to your body. Allow me to explain. ... Emotional ImprintsSTEP ONE: Something happens to you that is jolting, shocking, upsetting, painful, etc. (physically or emotionally) STEP TWO: It then creates an imprint in your physiology… a true shock to the system, if you will.
